How to Setup or Remove Static IP (v4) in Windows 10

Step 1. First, right click on the network icon down in the right corner of the screen, as shown below.

Step 2. Left click on "Open Network and Sharing Center", as shown below.

Step 3. Click on the "Ethernet" on the right side of the windows, that popped up, as shown below.

Step 4. Next, click on properties in the down left corner of the new windows that popped up, as shown below.

Step 5. Mark "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", as shown in with the red square, then click "Properties", as shown below with the orange square.

Step 6. Finally, click on "Use the following IP address" and set the IP, Subnet mask and default Gateway as you wish + which DNS servers you wanna use, as marked with red and orange squares.

When you are done giving the needed info, click ok (marked with the green square) and your PC have a static IP now.

Step 7. If you want to remote a static IP instead of adding one, choose "Obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically", as shown below with red sqaures.
