How to Add a Windows 10 machine to an Active Directory Domain Service (AD DS)

This guide will take you step by step through, how to add a windows 10 PC to a domain. In my case here, I have made a domain called: Football.local, which the PC will be added too.

Step 1. Open Explorer, which normally, is in the bottom line, as shown with a red square

Step 2. Right click on "This PC", as shown with a red square.

Step 3. Choose Properties, as shown below.

Step 4. Choose "Change settings" in the right side of the windows, as shown below with a red square.

Step 5. Choose "Change" in the new window, as shown below.

Step 6. pick "Domain" (set the dot there) and write the domain, that you wanna add it too. I have made a domain called Football.local, so thats what I am gonna add the computer to. See below

Step 7. When clicked OK, it will ask you to enter username and password, these must be on a account that have administrative rights on the domain, otherwise you wont be able to add the new computer to the domain. I used the administrator acc in my case and clicked OK

Step 8. Get confirmed that my PC now is a member of the domain, Football.local.

Step 9. Final step is that it needs to reboot the client before it becomes fully member of the new domain.

Hope it have been usefull and if you have any improvements for this guide, let me know here
