How to Setup Static IP (v4) on Server 2012

Guide 1 on how to set a static IP on your Windows Server 2012

Step 1. First, choose "Local Server" in the left side of "Server Manager" and then choose Ethernet, as shown below.

Step 2. Then right-click on the Ethernet you wanna configure a static IP for and choose "Properties", as shown below.

Step 3. Mark "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", as shown in with the red square, then click "Properties", as shown below (yellow square).

Step 4. Finally, click on "Use the following IP address" and set the IP, Subnet mask and default Gateway as you wish + which DNS servers you wanna use, as marked with yellow squares and then hit "OK".

Guide 2 on how to set a static IP on your Windows Server 2012

Step 1. First, right click on the network icon down in the right corner of the screen, as shown below.

Step 2. Left click on "Open Network and Sharing Center", as shown below.

Step 3. Click on the "Ethernet", that you want to set a static IP on, on the right side of the windows, that popped up, as shown below.

Step 4. Then choose "Properties", as shown below.

Step 5. Mark "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)", as shown in with the red square, then click "Properties", as shown below (yellow square).

Step 6. Finally, click on "Use the following IP address" and set the IP, Subnet mask and default Gateway as you wish + which DNS servers you wanna use, as marked with yellow squares and then hit "OK".
